Zora Volantes presents new illuminated “Second Skin” sculptures and paintings at Galerie Netzwerk in Trier, based on her ongoing project in which paper textures and colors serve as a “second skin” for her artistic creations. The exhibition guides visitors through color-themed spaces, from a bright sun-yellow entrance room to a darkened gallery space featuring glowing artworks and the film Bounty Hunter. The final room opens onto a garden and pond, showcasing works in green and blue tones, while new pieces will be developed on-site and the performance MonKeymind, created with Simone Westphal, will be presented on August 2, 2024.
